Australian GP – Formula 1 2011 season waiting for red lights to go off
The wait this time might have gone longer than what’s bearable but thankfully we are in Australia finally. After missing the first pit stop in Bahrain the teams, the cars, the drivers and the fans all have turned east and are waiting for the red lights to go off.
The Formula 1 2011 season is going to be explosive and highly competitive to say the least. From as much as five world champions like seven time champion Michael Schumacher and defending champion Sebastian Vettel, to four rookies to some old timers like Narain Karthikeyan the line up looks quite interesting and races for sure are going to be even more exciting.
New rules will rule in Formula 1 2011 season
Just like it happens every year, there are a few changes and new rules which will surely make an impact on the results. The big news is KERS- Kinetic Energy Regeneration Systems is back to make the fast cars even faster at a gentle push of the drivers.
But then there is the spirit dampener 107% rule which means as the fastest car picks pace in the qualifying, the not so fast cars could simply miss out on the race day. Then there are the usual aerodynamic affecting changes to the car, some of which are allowed and others not.
Today is the qualifying day and I am all set to become a part of the Formula 1 2011 season and keeping my fingers crossed for October leg of the Indian GP.
